I started "Out of Office" as a response to the question of why we need to sit in an office all day long? Why couldn't you just go to a workout class and clear your head for a little bit? Or sometimes work from a café or library?

If you're constantly sitting at your office desk for eight (or more) hours a day, you're not going to be doing your best work. You need to change your environment, take those breaks, meet new people and break routines. That’s backed by research: Gallup reports that workers who spent 60-80% of their time away from the office had the highest rates of engagement and become more productive in unlikely places.

Traveling, working remotely, getting out of your daily routine and escaping your usual environment enables you to think outside the box and ultimately be more creative and productive. You can get amazingly inspired by new environments, people, have unexpected new experiences and avoid routines and time-wasters such as too many long meetings.

With "Out of Office" I want to facilitate a new workforce to uncover new ways of working, break routines and inspire your day job with the things you can do in your downtime.
