With Loli
This 3-hour experience is a hands-on introduction to working with glass and create your own glass art piece. Working in small groups at Loli’s studio, participants will learn about the material, its possibilities, and its fundamental techniques while shaping their own unique piece from raw glass to finished form.
The workshop moves through the full arc of flameworking: managing heat and flame, learning to read the movement and timing of molten glass, building organic structure from the ground up, and finishing with the fine details—texture, edges, veins. Along the way, participants explore color and transparency, discovering how light changes a piece and how layered color creates depth.
This is not about reproducing an exact figure. It's about discovering your own artistic language through the material—at your own pace, with room to ask questions, experiment, and make mistakes. With glass, the mistakes are often where the most interesting moments happen.
Designed for anyone drawn to detail, exploration, and delicate handwork. Prior experience in flameworking helps, but it isn't necessary.
